Beyoncé Releases First New Track in Two Years With Morning Dew (Donk)

Beyoncé rang the alarm on the Fourth of July with the discharge of her first new tune in two years.

The famous person musician dropped “Morning Dew (Donk),” which she wrote with Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon and produced with Williams, on Saturday morning.

The monitor, set to be included on the twentieth anniversary version of her sophomore album B’Day, begins a 60-day countdown to that reissue and her subsequent birthday on Sept. 4.

B’Day was first launched on Beyoncé’s twenty fifth birthday, Sept. 4, 2006. It was her second No. 1 album, which bought greater than 541,000 copies in its first week of launch and consists of hits like “Irreplaceable” and “Ring the Alarm.”

“Morning Dew” was launched with a black-and-white lyric video that includes outdated footage directed by Cliff Watts, who shot Beyoncé’s Sports activities Illustrated Swimsuit cowl in 2007.

The monitor is a “particular present to her followers,” and “is a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive,” a launch from Beyoncé’s Parkwood Leisure says.

“Morning Dew” is Beyoncé’s first new tune since she launched her Cowboy Carter nation album in March 2024, which earned Beyoncé her first, long-awaited album of the 12 months Grammy. Previous to her win, she was essentially the most nominated feminine artist and not using a win within the class regardless of being the most-awarded artist in Grammy historical past.
