Tabula Rasa Dance Theater (TRDT), led by Inventive Director Felipe Escalante, presents Un-Choreographed June 5 & 6, 2026 at El Museo del Barrio in New York Metropolis. That includes 4 commissioned world premieres, this system brings collectively a daring gathering of choreographic voices to look at what it means to inhabit Latine identification in 2026.
By way of the lens of heritage, tradition, and corporeality, Un-Choreographed explores the lived experiences of the Latine diaspora in the present day. Choreographers embody Théa Bautista, a Franco–Mexican–American dancer and choreographer and founding father of Althea Dance Firm; Tabula Rasa Dance Theater Inventive Director and choreographer Felipe Escalante; Diego Gómez, a New York Metropolis–based mostly modern dancer and musical theater actor born and raised in Mexico Metropolis; and Miguel Miranda, a Peruvian multidisciplinary dancer and choreographer.
