Picturehouse Acquires Patrick Creadon Documentary ‘The King Of Colour’

EXCLUSIVE: Picturehouse has taken all North American distribution rights to Patrick Creadon’s new documentary, The King of Colour, about Lawrence Herbert, the creator of the Pantone Matching System (PMS).

The film is taking part in AFI Fest on Friday, Oct. 24, with a restricted theatrical launch on Dec. 12.

Herbert, a visionary whose revolutionary concept to standardize colour with the Pantone Matching System, revolutionized the worldwide language and use of colour. The documentary options an unique interview with Herbert, providing a glimpse into the thoughts behind Pantone and his influence on how we understand and use colour in the present day.
